Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 September 2026. This policy explains what happens to information you send us through this website.
The Short Version
This website has no database. The quotation form does not send anything to a server. When you press a send button, your own WhatsApp or email application opens with the details already typed in, and you decide whether to send it.
That means we hold nothing about you until you choose to contact us. From that point the information sits in our WhatsApp account or our email inbox, in the same way any ordinary business correspondence would.
What We Collect
Through correspondence: your name, company name, email address, telephone number, and whatever commercial detail you include about the product, volume and destination you are enquiring about.
Through the website itself: nothing. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no cookie banner, because there are no cookies to consent to. Your browser may cache the stylesheet, the fonts and the logo, which is ordinary browser behaviour and not tracking.
Through our hosting provider: standard server logs may record the IP address, browser type and page requested. Those logs are generated by the host, are kept for a limited period for security and diagnostics, and are not used to build a profile of you.
Why We Hold It
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and carry out a contract if you place an order. Where an order proceeds, some of your details will appear on shipping and customs documentation, because export paperwork requires a named consignee.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask to be kept informed, and we do not sell, rent or trade contact information under any circumstances.
Who Else Sees It
Where an order proceeds, the parties who need your information to move the goods: freight forwarders, customs brokers, inspection bodies and, where required, the certification body issuing halal or phytosanitary certificates.
Where the law requires it: Indonesian customs, tax and regulatory authorities.
Nobody else. We do not share enquiry details with other buyers, and we do not pass your requirements to suppliers in a form that identifies you unless you have agreed to it.
How Long We Keep It
Correspondence that does not lead to an order is kept while the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return to it.
Records connected to a completed transaction are kept for as long as Indonesian commercial, tax and customs law requires, which is generally ten years for accounting records.
Your Rights
Under Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where no legal obligation requires us to keep it, and withdraw consent to any use you previously agreed to.
Write to info@samcoglobal.org with the request. We will respond within a reasonable period and will not charge you for it.
