How the lanes were built
Network before volume
- Forwarder and customs contacts already in place at both ends
- Regional supplier verification through the group network
- Documentation practice tested across four jurisdictions
- New destinations quoted on the same terms
PT SAMCO is an Indonesian company, and the Indonesian entity is young. The lanes it trades on are not. They come from a group that has been moving goods through Sharjah, Lahore, Jeddah and Jhang since 2007, with the forwarder and customs relationships that come with that.
For a buyer this shows up in two places. Quotations on established lanes come back faster, and problems on those lanes get solved by someone who has already solved them once.
Trade terms by region
What to expect
| Southeast Asia | Short transit and frequent sailings. FOB is common because buyers already hold freight relationships. |
| South Asia | Established group presence in Pakistan. CIF often preferred, with origin side coordination handled by us. |
| Middle East | Long standing group lanes through the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Halal documentation is standard on every food consignment. |
| Africa | East and West African ports served. Destination specific certification confirmed at enquiry stage rather than at booking. |
| Europe | Northern and Mediterranean ports. Expect additional documentation and testing requirements, which we confirm before quoting. |
