What we trade

Five categories, one supplier relationship. Buyers who need several lines can take them all through a single contract and a single point of contact.

Category 01 / Textiles and apparel

Terry towels, bed linen and made to pattern

  • Terry towels, face cloth through bath sheet, 350 to 600 GSM
  • Bed linen: flat sheets, fitted sheets and pillowcases, single to king
  • Woven and knitted piece goods, and garments cut and sewn to your pattern
  • Private label, care labels and cartons produced to your artwork
  • Trial runs through to full container loads

Terry towels and bed sheets are the first lines moving under the Indonesian company, and stock is on the water now. They are graded, counted and carton packed in our own facility, so the count on the packing list is the count in the box.

Behind them sits the wider textile capability. Bandung is the centre of Indonesian textile manufacturing, so mills, dye houses and cut and sew units are a short drive away rather than a flight. Orders are quoted against a named mill, and if that mill cannot hold the specification we say so at quotation stage rather than at pre shipment inspection.

Category 02 / Agriculture and farm produce

Verified at source, inspected at lot

  • General farm produce, graded to buyer tolerance
  • Named grower or collection point on every quotation
  • Moisture, foreign matter and grading confirmed before loading
  • Phytosanitary and fumigation certification arranged at origin
  • Bulk, bagged and carton formats

Indonesian farm produce is plentiful and its grading is uneven. Finding a seller is not the work. Confirming that the lot on the floor matches the specification on the contract is the work, and that is done in person before anything is committed.

We inspect at lot level and issue the certificate against that consignment. Where a destination requires phytosanitary or fumigation certification, it is arranged before booking rather than chased afterwards.

Category 03 / General merchandise

Consolidation is the product

  • Household and consumer goods
  • Packaging and disposables
  • Hardware and light industrial items
  • Mixed category consolidation into one container
  • One invoice, one document set, one contact

Buyers running mixed inventory usually deal with five suppliers, five invoices, five inspection schedules and five sets of documents. Each one is a place where the shipment can slip.

We take the whole basket, consolidate it into one container and issue one document set. The saving is not only freight. It is the coordination that stops being your problem.

Category 04 / Aviation supply

Sourced through companies that fly

  • Consumables, cabin and ground handling supply
  • Parts sourcing against your part number and certification requirement
  • Cargo charter coordination through the group aviation companies
  • Traceability documents supplied with the consignment
  • Enquiries answered with what we can and cannot supply, named

Aviation is where the SAMCO name started. AHS Aviation Services was established in Sharjah in 2007 and AHS Air International followed in 2011 on a PCAA cargo charter licence. The Indonesian company sources into that side of the group rather than replacing it.

Aviation supply carries a documentation standard that ordinary merchandise does not. A part without its traceability paperwork is not a cheaper part, it is an unusable one. Tell us the part number and the certification your operator or regulator requires, and the answer names what we can supply and what we cannot.

Category 05 / Technology, AI and automation

Built because we needed it

  • Trade documentation generation and version control
  • Consignment tracking from purchase order to delivery
  • Quality and inspection records held at lot level
  • Automated document checking before a container is gated in
  • Reporting for buyers running audit requirements

Every claim on this site about inspection records and complete documents rests on a system that holds them. We built it ourselves because the off the shelf options assumed either a freight forwarder or a manufacturer, and we are neither.

Partners facing the same problem can use it rather than build their own. The wider technology practice, including EdTech and integration work, is described in full on its own page.

Buyer questions

Questions about the goods

What is in stock right now?
Terry towels and bed linen. Stock is landing under the Indonesian company now, and repeat production against your own specification runs alongside it. Everything else is quoted to order.
What is the minimum order quantity?
It depends on the construction and the mill. Simple woven and knitted goods start lower than specialised finishes. Send the specification and we will give you the honest minimum for that item rather than a headline figure.
Do you handle private label?
Yes. Care labels, hang tags, polybags and cartons can all be produced to your artwork and packed to your format.
What does the aviation category cover?
Consumables, cabin and ground supply, and parts sourcing against a stated part number and certification requirement, drawn through the group aviation companies. Send the part number and the standard your operator works to and we will tell you what we can reach.
How many categories can go in one container?
As many as fit and as many as customs at your destination will accept on one declaration. We will flag any line that would complicate the entry before we quote it.
Can you source an item that is not on your list?
Often yes. Send the specification and a target price. If we cannot source it to that standard we will tell you rather than substitute quietly.

Trade terms, inspection and certification are answered where they belong: logistics and documentation, quality and inspection and certifications.

Not Sure Which Category Fits

Describe what you need in plain terms. If we do not trade it, we will say so, and if a group entity does we will point you there.
